Terms and Conditions

  1. Warranty is not Transferrable.
  2. Invoice must be presented for any hardware warranty.
  3. Warranty is return to base for twelve (12) months unless otherwise stated.
  4. Warranty for laptop batteries is six (6) months return to base.
  5. Warranty applies to hardware only.
  6. No warranty or refund for software, media, tape, ink cartridges.
  7. The title of any goods does not pass to the purchaser until said goods are fully paid and all funds cleared by our bank.
  8. The purchaser will on demand pay all legal costs incurred in the collection of overdue monies or in reposession of goods.
  9. Warranty will be void if goods are found tampered with.
  10. Warranty does not cover damage cause by any other equipment used in conjunction with goods.
  11. The vendor is not responsible for any damage caused by transportation.
  12. The vendor is not responsible for any damage of loss arising from the use of goods.
  13. Cheque payments only acceptable by prior arrangement.
  14. All items not collected within three (3) months will be disposed of under the "Uncollected Goods Act".
  15. The vendor will take all care but no responsibility for any goods in it's custody for repair, maintenance or any other purpose.
  16. All items submitted under warranty are subject to a 'No Fault Found' (NFF) fee.
  17. A NFF will be applied to all warranty items where the fault described does not present during testing of the unit.
  18. A NFF will be applied to all items booked in as warranty where the fault found is not a warrantable item.
  19. Customer is responsible for all backing up of data.
  20. LocalTech will take all care but accept no responsibility for loss of data.
